USMLE test preparation and specialized medical training courses now available in Switzerland for Iranian physicians and medical students

For the first time, USMLE test prep courses will be available exclusively for Iranian physicians and medical students.  Courses will be delivered in cities including Geneva, Zurich, Bern, Lausanne, Basel, and Lugano.
    
In addition, other specialized short-form medical courses and global health diplomacy will be offered throughout the year under this initiative.  These courses will cover a wide range of specialized topics in the medical and dental sciences covering latest techniques and technologies used in practices in the U.S. and Europe.  The content for health diplomacy courses will be structured specifically for Iranian physicians and health sector professionals planning to engage with, and serve patients from, the international community.
               
Kaplan International will deliver test prep and other courses under the terms of a U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) License granted to Oxford International Development Group (Oxford, Mississippi US) and the Iranian-American Partnership for Medical Science and Public Health (Geneva).  Sustainable Development Strategy International Group (SDS Group) will manage course administration in Iran.

Step 1 Basic Health Sciences

Prepare for the Step 1 exam with Kaplan’s live four-week course in Switzerland. Kaplan's expert U.S. faculty will cover some of the most challenging topics found on Step 1 exam.  Instruction and resources will cover a variety of topics including Pathology, Pharmacology,  Physiology, Behavioral Science, Anatomy, Microbiology, Immunology, Medical Genetics and Biochemistry.   
    
Course participants also will have access to Kaplan’s complete set of materials as informational resources students will use during the course in Switzerland and will continue to have access to after returning home.  These resources include a full set of lecture notes, recorded videos, practice assessments and much more for an entire year, ensuring students will be fully prepared for the Step 1 exam.

Step 1 Question-Based Integration

Already prepared for the Step 1? Kaplan's USMLE Step 1 Live Question-Based Integration (QBI) course is specifically designed for international medical graduates who completed preparation for the USMLE and would like to review some topics before the exam to help them achieve a top score on the Step 1 exam.

This one-week course in Switzerland provides an in-depth review on some of the highest-yield or most challenging content found on the Step 1 exam. With expert teaching from a Kaplan instructor, students will be sure to understand these more difficult concepts for test day.
      
Step 2 Content Review
Attend approximately 250 hours of live lectures in Kaplan's Step 2CK Review course. Top Kaplan Physicians will teach  about clinical knowledge, systems, and patient interactions that are utilized in the United States and how to apply those to current medical practices.  Lecture topics include: Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Psychiatry, Obstetrics, and Gynecology.
      
Students also will have access to Kaplan’s complete set of materials as informational resources they will use during the course in Switzerland and will continue to have access to after returning home.  These resources include a full set of lecture notes, recorded videos, practice assessments and much more for an entire year, ensuring students are fully prepared for the Step 2CK exam.
